Just before I turn in, I noticed this on the Telegraph's website about Polish film posters. It's really interesting to see how the Poles interpreted the films. Some of them are quite startling, and the one for Gandhi is rather lovely. Enjoy.

Thanks for posting these posters. They're terrific. The one of Harrison Ford looks like a Van Gogh.

It almost looks as though it should be a book cover, rather than a film poster.

Oh that was a real pleasure! And I agree about the Gandhi poster. Some were pretty bizarre. I agree with sarcobatus that the Harrison Ford looks similar to a van Gogh!

Their Vintage Poster Gallery in Santa Fe, New Mexico contains over 8,000 different original, vintage Polish film posters.
The current exhibition displays over 250 Polish film posters.
