Indeed, there's not really much of a funny side here. From the perspective of a former 999 call handler for the ambulance service, all I can think of is:
- Thrown from bicycle onto hard surface = likely head trauma and spinal injuries.
- Landed on live rail = severe electrical burns.
- Definite scene safety concerns.
- Easy to find location, so ambulance should get there pretty fast
In conclusion, complacency can be very
bad for your health.
