Relentless self-promotion. I has it.

Ain't it just? I mean, Amazon are obviously a group of money-grabbing robber-barons. But they give good widget.

Let me get my books-to-read mountain down to a manageable size (it's 39 as I speak) and I'll pick one or two of those up.

No! I didn't mean anyone to go out and buy any of the damn things; I was just being cocky.

But don't forget, NW2 is coming...
I haven't worked out a way to keep it on the same page all the time, that people can gaze on the glory of hutch and his works for all time, so eventually it'll sink down below other posts until it vanishes altogether. *sigh*

Hm, yes, that ought to work. The question now is: do I have a sufficiently colossal ego to do that?
Well, I say NW2 is coming, but so many things have gone wrong over the past few years that I'm constantly expecting the whole thing to go pear-shaped again.

You're all spying on me? Hell, I always thought someone was... Yes, I might try that and see if it works.
I will certainly keep you posted.

Very Kool! (I have dispensed with the use of "c" resently, in retaliation of pedantry: I expekt there will be a pedant uprising).

In answer to your inquiry, Hutch, I received The Villages and As The Crow Flies. :)

(Imagine all the aforementioned spelled with either an "s" or a "k". Please.)

Okay. So the two Strange Pleasures volumes are still on their way.
Not that I mind at all, but why have you ditched the use of `c'?

If you go to your "friends page" and read the comments to my most recent entry you'll understand. Of course, it's all because of Thog, that irascible and argumentative curmudgeon. Him and his "c". Hence, the pedant uprising.

Ah, I see now. Good for you. I think you'll find that `codswallop' looks a lot like the above picture. It's a grand olde Englishe dance. And originally spelled `kodswallop.'

I stole it from the daughter of the (still sadly LJless) OJM.
I'm not that sweet. I'm rather a grumpy old sod, really. But bless you anyway. ;-)

Oooooh! Teh pretteh!
Can't wait 'til I'm home from Calgary and can see it on a "real" computer.
And yes, I'm a bad fantasy writer. I didn't bother to attend the World Fantasy Awards or the banquet. My Twitch Factor was running to high. I also nearly killed the guest of honor with my perfume, but that's a story for another day.
Hugs and smiles,
Jean Marie

I didn't realise you'd managed to get your hands on some of that stockpile of perfume the CIA were going to use on Castro...
