Over at The Guardian, Eric Brown reviews Subterfuge, and gives me a mention.
It just occurred to me that I've only sold two stories this year, both of them to NewCon Press, but they both got mentions in The Guardian. I dunno, you write for thirty-odd years and then two Guardian big-ups come along at once...

Ooooh . . . nice! Congrats!

Psychopathic elves . . . are they for hire? (I need to read this one.)

Trust me, you wouldn't want to hire these ones. But you've given me an idea for another story, so much thanks.

Mind you, it's in the book because Eric told Ian about it in the first place.

I got quoted in The Guardian once, but it wasn't something I'd written.

I wrote a piece on Blake's 7 for this book. The review quoted what the introduction said about B7, and attributed it to me. Of course, the intro had been written by the editors. What they'd said was very nifty, though.
