pastorbear made me do it...

You see, this is the kind of thing that happens to you when you have a brush with, if not death then fairly serious injury and you've spent your day humping boxes in and out of houses and beating your head against Sky Broadband's email setup only to discover that the thing you forgot to do for three hours was type in an @sky.com in an address box and then went home and took just the merest smidgeon of hard drink.

The first five people to respond to this post will get something made by me! My choice. For you. And if that doesn't make you quail in horror, read on.
This offer does have some restrictions and limitations:
I make no guarantees that you will like what I make. (In fact, the odds are against you)
What I create will be just for you, and it will be created by me. (And if you know me you can probably guess what that implies)
It'll be done this calendar year, meaning you aren't getting it next week. (In fact you may be pestering me this time next year and I'll probably be asking you to be patient, but you're all familiar with me doing that)
You have no clue what it's going to be. It almost certainly won't be poetry, and for that you should be forever thankful. Although...
It may be a mix CD, which I might default to because I have some cracking stuff loaded on the computer which could bear sharing around. I may surprise you and actually draw something. I used to be pretty handy with a Rotring pen, back when I was young, you know. I will not bake, quilt or crochet you anything, and I will not visit your home and dance the macarena because I'm a man of a certain age and friendship only goes so far, you know.
However, I do promise it will be more than just a handmade card. In fact in time to come you may be begging me to send you a handmade card.

The catch? The catch is that you have to post this undertaking in your journal as well, otherwise all bets are off.

Feeling lucky?
