Persians must have great personalities.

They certainly do. Hard to believe they can pack so much personality into such a little head. A little like Britney Spears, I suppose.

But they're much cuter than Spears.

They are indeed. I would much rather have three Persian cats sleeping around me, as I have at the moment, than three Britney Spears'.

"I would much rather have three Persian cats sleeping around me"

hmm, now I'm starting to wonder . . . wait. You said "around me", not "sleeping around with me". Whew. Had me going there for a sec.

Nope, three Persian cats variously snoring and farting in my near vicinity.

Persians fart? Or are you just blaming them?

I know, it surprised me, too. Kuron at least has an excuse after all the digestive trauma he's been through. Kasia, though, has no such excuse.

Interesting, that some cat breeds are more gassy than others. It's that way with dogs, the bully breeds quite possibly being the gassiest.

Funny how our conversation always de-evolves into either sex or flatulence. Is it just me?

Heh. No, I think it's probably me. Sex, flatulence, cigarettes, politics, alcohol and swearing. I'm a simple organism.
As I said, I think Kuron has an excuse, considering all the gastric stuff he's been through, and it's a recent thing with him. Kasia, though, has been doing it for a while, and she eats the same stuff Dougal does and he doesn't seem to get gassy at all. Go figure. All part of life's rich tapestry.

"I'm a simple organism"

Aren't we all.

I get the laughies whenever my boerboel rips them off, and they're loud! Kills me. So does the smell.

Yes, but your dogs seem to like eating cat litter, which to me is just...wrong...

That's because they're simple organisms too. I compare them to compsagnathids (sp?), those little dinosaurs that ate the poo of larger animals, the clean-up crew, as it were. Most dogs love cat roca.

He says . . . while not owning a dog. Dog farts from eating cat roca are the worst. What's worse is their breath afterward. Yuck.

But they're good animals, will die protecting you. I love them.

You know, I would never have guessed that dog breath and farts after eating cat roca were unpleasant.
I'm afraid I've never been a dog person. Although if you'd asked me eleven or twelve years ago whether I was a cat person, I would have said no, and now look at me, at least sixty percent cat hair.

When you start horking up hair balls I'll know you've arrived.

I'm a cat and dog person, love them equally, can't imagine my life without either one.

I don't mind dogs. Some friends of ours have a Bernese Mountain dog, which is still a puppy but could already face down a cadre of armed bastards, and I love him dearly. But it did come as something of a surprise to discover that I am, actually, a cat person. Bogna too, who originally thought of herself as a dog person.

This has been a rather, uh, interesting conversation, to say the least!

And our littlest dog loves to eat cat roca and the farts are STUPENDOUS. We try to keep her out of their room, but the farts give her away.
