The fallout from Conrad Black's little legal difficulty continues, with the Sun-Times Media filing for bankruptcy and citing Lord Black's legal fees as one of the nails in the coffin.
The company owns the Chicago Sun-Times, which I'm not an avid reader of, but it is the home of Ebert, whose work I am very partial to, and I would hate to see that suffer.

I think you're probably right about Ebert. If he does leave the Sun-Times there won't be any shortage of papers wanting to run his stuff.
I hadn't heard of Dechard before, which I guess is a sign of the times - these guys are falling out of the woodwork so often these days that they've stopped making the headlines over here. Perhaps Mr Dechard will wind up in the Florida Coleman Correction Facility with Lord Black.
