...Roger Ebert tears Bill O'Reilly a new aperture. I love this man's work.

I'd read stories about how Wayne had invented the `screen punch,' but I never knew why. I have a friend who I suspect would get on like a house on fire with Mr Price - he's also an afficionado of old film serials, to the extent that he can quote the names of the cinematographers and the people who did the effects. I suspect he'd love a copy of Forgotten Horrors. If it's still in print, I think it would make a very nice Christmas present for him.
I'm unlikely to be visiting the US again any time soon; I can barely afford to travel to work at the moment. But when I do, I would like to visit Texas, so don't discount us descending upon you and the Czarina like the merciless funnel of a tornado one day.
BTW, have you shelved this year's Chelsea Flower Show?

Sadly, yes: I'd love to see the show this year, but finances and work situations are going to make it impossible. There's always next year, especially if the books sell well.

I read somewhere that this year's show is going to be slimmed down some because of the economic situation, so next year's might be a better one to aim at.
