Quilting is a valid art form. And what I want to know is, why is "women's work" considered frivolous and inconsequential, as paraphrased by one of the quilters in the article. Granted, there are boring quilts out there, just as there are boring tapestries and boring baskets and boring pottery and boring paintings and boring sculptures. But these creations are still an art form, regardless of the sex of the artist or whether or not the artist was having sex while creating . . . but I digress . . .
I'm not a quilter, btw, even though pds_lit tried to convert me. :)
