I'm indebted to David Louis Edelman for bringing me Ann Coulter's latest words of wisdom.
David has an interesting take on Coulter, which I hadn't considered before: she's a humourist. I've never seen her in performance, so to speak, only read her stuff in print, but I never considered her a humourist before in the way I consider Al Franken and PJ O'Rourke humourists. I've just taken her at face value as a raving right-wing Barbie doll. But I've taken David's view to heart and I'll be going back over some of her stuff with that in mind.

I'm still baffled why I, a Brit living in London, should be so annoyed by her. But there you go. You don't get to choose what annoys you.

Hey I'm a Brit living next door to President Bush and he pretty much annoys me too.

Sometimes you just can't choose your neighbours.

That is very true.
Do you get to go round and ask Bush to turn down the music late at night? He always looks to me like someone who'd play the Electric Light Orchestra really loud late at night, which would really annoy me.
