the oldest cat in britain?

I make no comment, except to say that in comparison to Pussywillow, our boys are barely teenagers and our little girl is little more than a newborn. Cats are living longer; veterinary science keeps advancing and owners are growing more and more willing to spend fantastic amounts of money to save their pets' lives. Last year, thanks to the wonderful people at the Royal Veterinary College up in Potters Bar, Dougal survived an infection which would have carried him off a few years ago. It was touch and go as it was. As I think I said at the time, if I ever get sick, I want to be taken up to Potters Bar.
