They stayed at home and a friend of ours from round the corner popped in to feed them and clean the litter tray and make sure they didn't get too lonely. They were fine when I got back last night.

When I saw that over at www.xkcd.com, I immediately thought of you. I have no idea why... ;-)

Have you ever read the XKCD webcomic? It's very funny, albeit a bit geeky. OK, it's extremely geeky, but don't let that put you off, as there are some comedic gems to be found there.

I've never looked at XKCD before, but I can see I'm going to have to keep an eye on it. I can cope with surprising degrees of geekness, but a lot of stuff goes right by me. Not all that long ago I had to ask someone to explain what ROFLOL meant.
