loose ends

You may remember that I posted something a long while ago about a series of murders in Suffolk. Well, an arrest was made and for the past few weeks a gentleman named Steve Wright has been on trial. And today he was found guilty. He'll be sentenced tomorrow, but it looks as though thirty years is the most optimistic outcome he can expect.

edit: Yep, he was given what we call a `whole life term,' which basically means he'll be in prison the rest of his life. As opposed to another murderer who was sentenced today, who was also given life but will serve at least 34 years before his status can be reviewed.
